Do you ever just love someone’s energy from the first time you connect with them? As soon as I started chatting with Lisa by e-mail and then phone, I knew her wedding was going to be so fun to photograph.
Bride Lisa and her now husband Ryan came down to the Lowcountry from Boston for an intimate elopement style wedding over at Magnolia Plantation.
If you’ve never been to Magnolia Plantation, let me tell you: the hardest thing about it as a venue is deciding what part of this stunning property to use for your nuptials! Lisa and Ryan scouted the venue a couple days before and decided on the sweeping row of ancient live oaks as their perfect spot.
This sweet couple - and can we have a moment for Lisa’s epic gown here? What a show stopper! - said “I do” beneath the trees and Spanish moss with a small gathering of dear friends and family. My dear friend and the very talented Kristen Barner officiated their ceremony before making it official with the signing of the marriage license.
This laid-back couple only wanted a few posed photos with family and friends before a quick session of just the two of them - they were much more excited just to enjoy the day and each other’s company. I love the photos we got at this dreamy location and I could not be happier for this sweet pair!
Congratulations again to Lisa and Ryan! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and adventure. It was my pleasure to share in your big day!
